273/365 – flourishing

Spotted this place on the way to work. Dig the “use other door” sign. There is no other door.

272/365 – Maple at night

Playing around with a new powerful flashlight. 30 second shutter while a couple bursts from the raygun hit the tree.

271/365 – meatloaf

With carrots and potatoes. It’s what’s for dinner.

269/365 – photo editor

At Geekfest, photo editor Mike Davis shows how he works and shares his thoughts.

270/365 – some clouds

and a bit of tree. No Photoshop except some noise reduction in ACR. Just some cool clouds.

268/365 – Lighting demo

Zack Arias spoke about lighting at geekfest and did a demo with a willing model from the audience. Picture in a picture in a picture. He was shooting tethered and took a shot while the screen was displaying his wallpaper from his laptop.

267/365 – Level 1

Parking garage. It’s a new video game or something.

266/365 – hawk

He was on top of the telephone pole behind my our house. Sorry for the noise. Best I could do. Happy hunting mister hawk!

265/365 – caged summer

A little something for the first day of autumn.

264/365 – Bryan in his library

My friend Bryan and part of his book collection.

263/365 – junk room still life

Dog toys that need mending and a mask from I do no know where.

262/365 – Temple Flowers

Flowers at the Budhhist temple in Tampa.

261/365 – Rockabilly concert fans

There was a rockabilly concert and car show at the State Theater yesterday and at the same time a photo shoot with models that I heard about. Made my way by and got some nice shots.
This group wasn’t part of the models. I just really thought they looked cool together and asked if I could take their photo.

260/365 – pigeons at sunset

Shooting the sunset at the pier downtown and some pigeons got in the shot.

259/365 – Banyan Tree Neon

Old hotel on 4th Street, St. Petersburg, Fla.

258/365 – Snail

Found it last week at Circle B Bar Reserve. I think a bird had a tasty snack.

257/365 – Have your cake and eat it too

Sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too. Went out for dinner with friends for a late birthday celebration last night.

256/365 – Chupacabra

This is where I saw the chupacabra… or maybe not.

255/365 – Drum Circle

At the drum circle on Sunday night on Treasure Island. It’s behind the Bilmar every Sunday from 1 hour before sunset until 10pm.

254/365 – Red flower

Silk flower on the table at a restaurant

253/365 – Rickenbacker

Catching up on the #365 shots. Went to see The Horny Toads play at the beach bar at the Sirata on Friday. Shot this while they were on a break.

252/365 – Circle B Bar Reserve

Great park near Lakeland. Lots of birds. Almost no facilities. Bring water and a snack… and water. Polarizer and HDR.

251/365 – Mad Beach

Maderia Beach, or Mad Beach as they call it around here.
HDR with some Topaz Adjust added.

250/365 – Mimosa

Flower in our yard. It’s a sensitive plant, I don’t mean you can hurt it’s feelings. If you brush your finger across the leaves they fold up.
