Cypress

Went to Sawgrass Lake park for a little bit this morning. Shot this cypress tree with the morning light behind it. Processed with Topaz Adjust and Nik Color Efex Pro.

Triple tall cappuccino

Shot while waiting at Starbucks this morning. Took it with the Hipstamatic app and cropped and added vignette with Camera+.

Brooksville Raid gallery

Went to the annual civil war reenactment in Brooksville yesterday. Click on the photo to launch a gallery of a selection of shots I took. Can’t stand to stake out a spot to shoot the battle and just sit there for a few hours to hold it. I’d rather walk the whole event and get more behind the scenes and prep time close-ups.

At the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games

Lots of bagpipes! I loves me some bagpipe music! Was hoping to get some nice portraits but forgot all about that when I got there. Just had fun looking around instead.

Curvaceous

Shot this at a motorcycle show in Sarasota this weekend. I like getting up close on details in these crowded situations. HDR processed with Photomatix and CS5.

Three towers

Another shot made on the way to work the other morning. Smoothed out the water with Topaz Adjust.

Spicify

Set the G12 to “scene mode: super vivid” and later in CS5 ran the Topaz Adjust Spicify filter on this.

Outsourced

Something about these empty parking spaces caught my eye as I was leaving work today. The darkness, the dead leaves. Processed with levels and curves and darkened the edges and sharpened it in the center.

Teresa

Went out to dinner last night with my wife and took this with my G12. Had the ISO set to auto so it went to 1600. Just downloaded Topaz DeNoise and tried it out on this shot. Ran Nik CEP darken/lighten then darkened the edges some more on top of that.
