Alligator at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
Went to Naples last weekend to see friends for Easter and to visit the Corkscrew Swamp Audubon Sanctuary. Lots of great old cypress trees there and plenty of birds too. Saw red shouldered hawk, woodpeckers, ibis, herons and some songbirds I couldn’t ID. Saw a few alligators too like this one. One was a big momma with a few babies.
Drum Circle
Went to the Drum Circle on Treasure Island last night. It’s held every Sunday behind the Bilmar from an hour before sunset until 10pm. I took a few photos of a lady dancing with a hoop light with LEDs and a couple of a guy who was drumming with LEDs on his fingers. Click image to see larger on a dark background.
Billetproof car show
Took a drive to Gainesville yesterday to go to the Billetproof car show. Lots of cool cars. No trailer queens as they say. You have to drive it in. Last year the show was in February and it was cool and rained. Not this time, full sun and hot. There was a ladies roller derby demo going on in the building and I also stopped on the way home to shoot an old gas station… and eat some BBQ. No food photos though

Sunset colored sand
Ran over to the beach a couple nights ago to shoot the sunset. Took this of the sand at the waters edge.
Tulips
Some tulips my wife brought home. Opened the shades on our living room window and used a reflector to shine some light on the flowers.
