Went and checked out the Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team with a meetup group this evening. Got a few shots and a lot to delete. Pretty fast moving action!
People on a ride at the county fair.
Shot with Lensbaby with fisheye and macro converter.
Well it was cutting edge at some point. It’s an old CPU with a heatsink glued on it that I keep on my desk. Shot it on a table in the back yard facing the setting sun with my 105mm macro lens.
He found a nice warm spot…. or maybe I light him up with a hand mirror.

Got rained on last night walking back to the car after an event at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. Made for some nice photos though so it was OK.

Great place to watch the sunset.
Somewhere along US 441. Spotted this while driving back from Jacksonville.
Finished up business with the brother-in-laws loose ends for the day and found some time to go by the Walter Jones Historic Park for a short walk. Found the park last year when we were in Jacksonville for a visit. Nice little park by the St. Johns River.
Found some expired passports of my brother-in-laws while cleaning out his house with my wife. Composed the shot with the passports and some Panama Canal matches on a mola seeing as he was born and raised in the Canal Zone like my wife and their sister.
Lemonade. As in when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. My brother-in-law died so I shot this while driving with my wife to go help her deal with his stuff.
Lensbaby with macro filter. It sure is hard to get it in focus.
Hipstamatic shot at dinner out. All I had time to shoot today.
First floor of the Cube looking out at Rivergate Tower (Sykes building). The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts http://fmopa.org/ is on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Spotted him hanging out in the yard so I grabbed my macro lens for a close-up.
Saw Brian at The Ale & the Witch several weeks ago enjoyed his singing and playing. Went and found him on FB and noted when he was coming back… which was today so went by for a beer and some music. I dig his guitar playing. Good voice too.
Went to shoot the moon setting over the city this morning. I’m not too pleased with my moon shots but I got this one which I like.
